Synopsis

Leaving behind her life as a courtesan and madam, Clara Winters plans to open a music hall for the masses. When she rescues an injured man from the streets of East London, he turns out to be Henry March, Earl of Waterson, a member of Parliament whose political compromise may dash her dream.

Christi Caldwell is a USA Today bestselling author of historical romance, including the Sinful Brides and Heart of a Duke series. A former high school history teacher, she began writing romance while in graduate school at the University of Connecticut, inspired by Judith McNaught's "Whitney, My Love," and published her debut, "Forever Betrothed, Never the Bride," in 2013.
