Synopsis

Julia Larwood's Aunt Regina and her friends face a tax crisis after investing in equities and spending the profits. When their psychic counselor, Isabella del Comino, is found dead, all signs point to a death linked to financial misadventure. Julia enlists her old friend, Professor Hilary Tamar, to investigate a money trail that implicates Aunt Regina in what appears to be both capital fraud and a capital crime. Hilary, with her erudite mind, must navigate the complexities of the case to uncover the truth.
