Synopsis

The Sialkot Saga is a standalone historical thriller by Indian novelist Ashwin Sanghi, and one of his loosely connected Bharat books. Spanning roughly half a century of Indian history, it follows two rivals, the businessman Arvind Bagadia and the underworld figure Arbaaz Sheikh, whose fates become entangled through ambition and enmity.

Sanghi threads the personal contest between the two men through the sweep of national events from the 1950s onward, blending gritty crime drama with the author's trademark historical and mythological puzzle-boxes, including the legend of the Nine Unknown Men and an ancient formula said to hold the secret of immortality.

Generational in scope and dense with historical detail, it is written for adult readers who enjoy commercial thrillers that braid fact, fiction, and myth.
