Synopsis

On a prison transport ship, a linguist named Bellis Coldwine seeks escape from a troubled past. When pirates attack, the survivors are taken to Armada, a city built from ships on the sea, where leaving is forbidden. Bellis finds herself trapped in this strange new world, a place of bizarre inhabitants and strict rules, as she tries to navigate her new reality.
