The Scandalous Vixen

Helena Astley has spent years fiercely guarding her independence while running her late father's shipping business, earning the scandalous nickname "Lady Hell" among the ton. Roan Darlington, Duke of Leighton, has carried feelings for her for ten years but never acted on them. When the two are caught in a compromising position, Roan proposes a fake engagement Helena can dissolve after Christmas — a solution meant to protect her reputation without demanding anything real. As they're forced into each other's company, old feelings resurface, and both must decide whether to risk exposing their true hearts. Book two of Tracy Sumner's "The Duchess Society" series.
