Synopsis

Necessity Byrne is a talented landscape designer determined to make her own way in the world—a woman used to flouting convention and shocking society. When she's hired to restore the neglected gardens of the reclusive, war-scarred Oliver, Earl of Stanford, she must confront the ripple of awareness she's felt ever since a brief meeting with the steel-eyed rake years ago.

Since returning from war a changed man, the Earl has weathered a meddling brother, a raucous circle of friends, and a crumbling estate.
