The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!

It's time for the Pigeon to go to school, and he is NOT happy about it. He doesn't know anyone there, he can't read yet, and math sounds terrifying — surely there's a way out of this? The Pigeon works through excuse after increasingly outlandish excuse, until he finally admits the real problem underneath them all: he's scared of the unknown.

Along the way, a bus driver, a librarian, and an excited little duckling starting school for the first time each share why school might actually be worth trying. By the end, the Pigeon talks himself in circles right into a change of heart — and heads off to join his classmates.
