Barbara Annette Steiner
Born in Arkansas in 1934, she moved to Boulder with her husband, Kenneth Steiner, in 1966. He preceded her in death in 2005. She first worked as a teacher, then quit to write full time. She wrote more than 70 books, picture books, animal books, humor, mysteries, horror stories, romances, school stories and historical novels.
