Synopsis

On the moon, U.N. Delegate Gil Hamilton finds himself embroiled in a murder attempt when a Belt Delegate is shot by a laser. The prime suspect is Naomi Mitchison, a tourist and Gil's old flame, who was the only person outside at the time. Believing Naomi is innocent of the shooting but hiding another serious crime, Gil must race against Luna's swift legal process to uncover the truth before she is condemned to be 'broken up' for spare parts. He uses his unique 'phantom arm' ability to investigate, sensing things remotely to solve the mystery.
