Synopsis

Detective Elijah Baley is sent to the remote planet Solaria, a world where robots have replaced slaves and humans have developed strange phobias. When a murder occurs – the first in two centuries – Baley must investigate, but as an Earthman, he finds the Solarian way of life deeply unsettling. The investigation under the harsh glare of the naked sun becomes a test of his nerves and his ability to adapt.
