Synopsis

Dog groomer and budding marriage-proposal planner Destiny Amor is a devoted believer in true love and happily-ever-afters, even if her own remains firmly out of reach; honestly, who could ever satisfy every item on her exacting Mr. Right Checklist?

When her first attempt at moonlighting as a romance concierge ends in complete disaster, she is ready to give up the dream entirely. Then the supposed groom-to-be steps in with a proposal of his own.

Ryan 'Fletch' Fletcher is a divorced, never-doing-that-again professor who badly needs to get his relentlessly matchmaking family off his back, and a disorganized, hopelessly-in-love-with-love proposal planner turns out to be the perfect cover. Their arrangement is meant to be simple and strictly pretend.

Set where Destiny's starry optimism collides with Fletch's flat refusal to hope again, this steamy standalone romantic comedy pairs a grumpy academic with a relentless romantic in a fake situationship that neither expects to feel real. As the ruse blurs into genuine feeling, both must decide whether a checklist, and a heart that swore off love, can be rewritten.

Funny, warm, and unabashedly swoony.
