Synopsis

Quentin Coldwater has been cast out of Fillory, the magical land he spent his life trying to reach, and comes back to Brakebills as a teacher with nothing much left to lose. He falls in with a wizardly heist crew and a brilliant, secretive young magician named Plum, and the job leads him into grey magic and worse company. Meanwhile Fillory itself is running out of time: its barriers are failing, and Eliot and Janet set out on one last quest to save it. Every road leads back to the same place. The closing book of the Magicians trilogy.
