Synopsis

Esme Brentmor will let nothing stand between her and vengeance for her father's murder — not danger, not propriety, and certainly not the devastatingly handsome but hopelessly irresponsible Varian St. George, Lord Edenmont, who becomes tangled up in her quest. Forced to travel together through the wilds of Albania, the fierce, armed Esme and the pleasure-seeking Varian discover that their fundamentally opposite natures generate as much heat as friction. Book one of Loretta Chase's Scoundrels series.
