Synopsis

Nicholas Radnor, the new Duke of Hollinburgh, must find a bride and locate a mysterious woman from his uncle's will. When the unconventional Iris Barrington arrives, Nicholas suspects she might be the missing beneficiary, or perhaps a charlatan. Madeline Hunter (1952–2025) was a nationally bestselling American author of historical romance who held a Ph.D. in art history and taught at an East Coast university before writing full-time.
