Synopsis

On a quiet street in 1930s New Orleans, a florist agrees to spend the night building a funeral arrangement for an eleven-year-old girl named Adeil, who pays for each flower with a piece of a story.

As the bouquet grows, so does the tale: a chance meeting with a disillusioned jazz singer, a crumbling family home, a life lived on the fringes of an imperfect world. Told in watercolor, this original graphic novel from Eisner-winning writer Darcy Van Poelgeest and artist Erin Connally is a quiet meditation on companionship, family, and sacrifice.
