Synopsis

The Autumn Republic brings Brian McClellan's Powder Mage trilogy to its thunderous conclusion, as every plot, army, and god converges on the capital of Adro.

The city of Adopest has fallen, the enemy occupies the heart of the nation, and the leaders who might save it are scattered, wounded, or presumed dead. Field Marshal Tamas returns to find his republic overrun and betrayal on every side. Taniel must decide what he is willing to sacrifice, the inspector Adamat races to protect what remains of his family, and the true nature of the divine powers manipulating the war is finally laid bare.

McClellan pays off three books of intrigue, revolution, and escalating magic with large-scale battles and hard-won resolutions. A satisfying finale for readers invested in the fate of Adro and its powder mages.
