Synopsis

Teuflische Freundin – Du entkommst ihr nicht is the German edition of R.L. Stine's Fear Street novel The Best Friend 2, the sequel to The Best Friend.

Becka Norwood is trying to put her life back together at Waynesbridge High after the previous year's violence, reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend Eric and slowly building a circle of new friends. Then Honey — the girl who forced her way into Becka's life, insisted they were best friends, and turned murderous when Becka pulled away — escapes from the psychiatric hospital and starts making her way back.

Becka begins seeing Honey everywhere and can no longer tell paranoia from warning. Her friend Bill, who nearly died in Honey's last attack, wants to be close to her again, while Becka keeps him at arm's length. Stine withholds Honey's real motive until the end, and the reveal reframes everything that came before.
