SWEETLY UNHINGED

Violet Carter is done with disappointing men. Freshly rid of a leeching ex and stuck under a predatory boss, she does something reckless: she sends an anonymous email to The Ghost — a vigilante hacker rumoured to destroy bad men for sport — laying out her darkest fantasy. She never expects a reply. Then her phone buzzes. He's answered. He's watching. And he says he can make it real.

What Violet doesn't know is that The Ghost is Cade — her brother's ex, the quietly devoted guy who brings her coffee and fixes her laptop, and who has wanted her for longer than he'll admit. Hidden behind the screen, he sets out to become every dangerous thing she craves, even as their real-life closeness deepens into something he can't control.

The first book in Kira Cole's Devoted in Darkness duet, Sweetly Unhinged is a dark, spicy rom-com of forbidden tension, mistaken identity, and obsessive devotion — a golden-retriever hero with a hacker's edge, and a heroine who may not want to be saved. Their story continues in Beautifully Ruined.
