Synopsis

In 1970s Britain, Serena Frome, the daughter of an Anglican bishop, finds herself recruited by MI5. Her mission: to infiltrate the literary world and monitor a promising young writer. As Serena navigates the clandestine world of espionage, she struggles to keep her professional duties separate from her growing personal feelings.
