Sunshine Beach

Sunshine Beach
Synopsis
Maddie, Avery, Nikki and Kyra lost their savings to a Ponzi scheme and have spent three books rebuilding their lives one renovation at a time. In Sunshine Beach they set their sights on the Sunshine Hotel and Beach Club, a crumbling mid-century landmark on the Gulf coast of St. Petersburg, Florida, and try to turn it into both a home and a going concern.
The building comes with more than dry rot. Buried in its history is an unsolved murder from decades earlier, and the closer the women get to restoring the place, the more insistent that past becomes. Meanwhile each of them is carrying something of her own: a new baby, an old marriage, a career that will not behave, and the reality-television crew that keeps filming all of it.
Wendy Wax's Ten Beach Road series is women's fiction about friendship, money and second acts, told in rotating points of view. Sunshine Beach, published in 2016, is the fourth full-length novel and follows Ten Beach Road, Ocean Beach and The House on Mermaid Point.
