Synopsis

Satyayoddha Kalki: Eye of Brahma is the second novel in the Kalki Trilogy by Indian mythological-fantasy author Kevin Missal, published in 2018. It continues the story begun in Dharmayoddha Kalki: Avatar of Vishnu, reimagining the prophesied tenth avatar of the god Vishnu as the hero of a sprawling, battle-heavy fantasy epic.

Picking up after the events of the first book, the novel follows Kalki as he journeys to the Mahendragiri mountains to train and grow into his destiny, while the demonic Lord Kali continues his campaign to dominate the world. The narrative moves across multiple points of view, gods, demons, and mortals, building toward the trilogy's climactic confrontation, with the mystical Eye of Brahma at the centre of the conflict.

Missal became one of the youngest bestselling authors in Indian mythological fiction, and the Kalki series sold strongly to a young readership drawn to fast-paced, action-driven retellings of Hindu mythology. The book suits readers of Amish Tripathi and Anand Neelakantan, as well as fans of epic fantasy with clearly drawn good-versus-evil stakes.
