Synopsis

Trenwith Estate, Hampshire, 1913. Sarah Trenwith lives in the shadow of her beautiful sister Marianne and has secretly loved Troy Pelham for years, though he is expected to marry her sister. Pen name of British author Linda Sole, who also writes as Cathy Sharp. Born in Swindon and raised in Cambridgeshire, Clarke is known for warm, character-driven historical sagas set around the two world wars, including the best-selling Mulberry Lane and Welcome to Harpers series. An RNA Award winner, she has written over 100 novels across her pseudonyms and lives in Cambridgeshire.
