Synopsis
Sand & Sterne is the third book in Marleen S. Meri's Loreley series, continuing the fantasy-adventure saga that began with Wind & Weite and Salz & See.
After tragic events in Landstroem, the crew splits: the Ruby sails on toward the desert kingdom of Numai, a land of dragons and wonders, while the Elmanauts strike out through unforgiving jungle terrain. Both groups are racing to recover the two reliquaries still needed to free the sea goddess Saesora, and both find the road harder than expected.
The split narrative widens the world Meri built in the first two books, giving more of the ensemble cast room to develop while keeping the central quest for Saesora's freedom at the center of the story.
