Partners in Lime

Partners in Lime is the sixth book in Bree Baker's Seaside Café Mysteries, set in the small island town of Charm, North Carolina. Everly Swan runs Sun, Sand, and Tea, an iced-tea shop in a seaside Victorian, and is trying to plan her wedding to town detective Grady Hays while juggling the demands of the business and her large, opinionated extended family.

A killing on the island interrupts those plans. Everly is drawn back into an investigation she is repeatedly told to leave alone, and with the help of her great-aunts and her friend Amelia she works through the small town's tangle of rumors, grudges and secrets to identify the culprit.

Like the rest of the series, it is a light, low-violence cozy mystery built on recurring characters, coastal atmosphere and recipes, and reads best in order.
