Synopsis

A man who helped build the global database that records every human being talked his way into deleting himself from it just before it went live. Having no identity at all, he can be anyone, which makes him a very expensive freelance investigator with nobody able to check his story. Three novellas follow him through jobs nobody else can take: The Eve of RUMOKO, Kjwalll'kje'koothai'lll'kje'k, and Home Is the Hangman, which won Zelazny the 1976 Hugo for Best Novella.
