Murder in the First Edition

Murder in the First Edition
Synopsis
When a valuable first edition turns up in Greyborne Harbor, Addie Greyborne — bookseller, rare-book specialist, and reluctant sleuth — is exactly the person people bring it to. Then a death follows the book, and the police investigation runs straight through her shop.
Addie works the case the way she works a provenance: patiently, back through owners, sales, and the gaps in a story that ought to be continuous. What she finds is a chain of ownership somebody was prepared to kill to keep hidden, and a town whose respectable surfaces do not survive close reading.
The third Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery, set in a small New England harbor town among booksellers, collectors, and the people who deal with them.
