Synopsis

A Page Marked for Murder is the fifth entry in Lauren Elliott's Beyond the Page Bookstore Mystery series, published by Kensington in 2020.

During Greyborne Harbor's Fire and Ice festival, rare-bookshop owner Addie Greyborne discovers a man dead behind Martha's bakery. The victim is Brett Palmer, the estranged ex-husband of Addie's assistant Paige, in town to press for custody of their daughter. When a valuable first edition of The Secret Garden also goes missing, Addie starts pulling on the thread that connects the theft to the murder — and to a suspect much too close to her friends.

As with the rest of the series, the mystery resolves within the book, and the appeal is the small New England town, the bookshop, and the running romantic thread rather than any graphic crime.
