Synopsis
Rosalie Hart's husband has left her, and she has taken refuge at Barclay Meadow, the farm she inherited on Maryland's Eastern Shore. It is a place to be quiet in, until a young woman's body is found in the river that runs along the property and the authorities settle quickly on accidental drowning.
