Synopsis

Midwinter Murder: Fireside Tales from the Queen of Mystery gathers a selection of Agatha Christie's winter-set short stories, first published together as a themed collection in 2020. The stories bring together several of Christie's best-known detectives, including Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple, investigating murders that unfold against a backdrop of snowdrifts, dangerous gifts, poisoned meals, and mysterious houseguests. The collection includes the original version of "Christmas Adventure," not previously released in the United States, and was the first of four seasonal Christie anthologies later collected as Murder for All Seasons.
