Synopsis

The concluding volume unmasks the person behind the filariasis outbreak: a resentful man convinced that society goes too easy on hardened criminals, who deliberately spread the parasite among people he judged unworthy of leniency and is now preparing to release it nationwide. With Inspector Mizoguchi himself succumbing to infection, the investigation is left in doubt as to who can still stop him.

Manhole is the third of three volumes by Tetsuya Tsutsui, originally serialized in Young Gangan from 2004 to 2006. This English edition was published by Abrams ComicArts in 2025.
