Synopsis

Winter should have stopped the outbreak, but the mosquitoes carrying the filariasis parasite are still active, raising the risk of a much larger wave of infections. As Inspector Mizoguchi closes in on his prime suspect, he is exposed to an infected person himself and finds himself racing to solve the case before the parasite takes hold.

Manhole is the second of three volumes by Tetsuya Tsutsui, originally serialized in Young Gangan from 2004 to 2006. This English edition was published by Abrams ComicArts in 2025.
