Synopsis

Faircoast: Lovely Ride is the second book in Vanessa-Sophie Peks' German-language Faircoast romance duology. Maelyn is hired as a young, leading engineer to oversee construction of a cutting-edge amusement park — a high-stakes job that could rescue her family's struggling construction firm. The catch is Xander, heir to the park and the man who destroyed everything she cared about five years earlier, who insists on personally overseeing every stage of the build.

Forced into daily proximity, Maelyn and Xander's professional friction gives way to old wounds resurfacing and an attraction neither wants to admit to. As a dark secret from their shared past threatens to derail both her career and her sense of self, Maelyn has to decide whether to trust the person who once hurt her most.

The novel leans on enemies-to-lovers and forced-proximity dynamics typical of the genre, following on from the duology's first book, Hateful Ride.
