Synopsis

Peter Grant is on the trail of Martin Chorley, the wizard operating as the Faceless Man, who has begun stealing artifacts as part of a plan to bring back King Arthur, or rather a version of him "totally made up by a bunch of Welsh Nationalists and romantic Frenchmen."

The seventh Rivers of London novel keeps the series' trademark mix of police procedure, magic, and dry London wit, as Peter's search for Chorley collides with the Faceless Man's endgame.
