Synopsis

The second House of Night novella, and the origin story of the school's enigmatic riding instructor. Lenobia is fifteen when she boards a ship bound for New Orleans among girls promised to the city's wealthiest Frenchmen — travelling in the company of a bishop skilled in Dark magic, whose appetite for young women makes him dangerous. Kristin F. Cast (born November 4, 1986) is an American author of young adult fiction. She was born on a U.S. Air Force base in Japan and raised in Oklahoma. In 2007, at age 19, she began co-writing the House of Night vampyre series with her mother, P. C. Cast; the series ran to twelve novels and concluded in 2014.
