Kalona's Fall

Kristin F. Cast (born November 4, 1986) is an American author of young adult fiction. She was born on a U.S. Air Force base in Japan and raised in Oklahoma. In 2007, at age 19, she began co-writing the House of Night vampyre series with her mother, P. C. Cast; the series ran to twelve novels and concluded in 2014. Phyllis Christine Cast was born on 30 April 1960 in Watseka, Illinois, USA, and grew up being shuttled back-and-forth between Illinois and Oklahoma, which is where she fell in love with Quarter Horses and mythology (at about the same time).
