Yoshihiro Tatsumi (1935-2015) was a Japanese manga artist. He began his career in the 1950s, creating works that explored the darker aspects of life. Tatsumi is known for his gekiga style, a term he coined, which offered a more mature and dramatic alternative to traditional manga. His notable works include "A Drifting Life," "Good-Bye," and "The Push Man and Other Stories."
