Last Chance to See
Douglas Adams and zoologist Mark Carwardine travel the globe to visit endangered species — from the aye-aye in Madagascar to the kākāpō in New Zealand — and reflect on what it means to lose them. Told with Adams' trademark wit and warmth, the book is a comic, elegiac meditation on extinction and the fragility of the natural world.
