Synopsis

Inspector Maigret faces a long night at the Three Widows' Crossroads after a diamond merchant is found dead. The initial suspects—a car owner, a garage owner, and a gas station attendant—all claim ignorance. When the victim's widow is then shot dead, Maigret must untangle a complex web of deceit, with a woman at its heart, to find the killer.
