Over a decade ago, an archaeological dig in Romania unearthed something that should have stayed buried: an ancient virus that turned a team of researchers into murderous, wolf-like monsters. Now that "wolf virus" is spreading worldwide, spread further by agents working for a figure known as the Wolf King. In this second volume, Takashi Nagasaki (story) and Ignito (art) pull back from the series' body-horror opening to dig into the outbreak's origins, as a mysterious man claims to know the truth behind it, and a plot of political corruption and terrorism comes into focus.
