It's One of Us

Olivia Bender designs beautiful interiors and wants, more than anything, to be a mother. Round after round of fertility treatment has failed, and the strain has worn a seam through her marriage to Park.

Then the police arrive with news neither of them is prepared for: DNA taken from a murder scene points to a son of Park's. Years ago, long before Olivia, Park donated sperm to a clinic. He never asked how many times it was sold. The answer, it turns out, is dozens of times, and one of the children it produced may be a killer.

As the case draws national attention and the details of the victim's death begin to echo an old tragedy in Park's past, Olivia finds her own carefully kept secrets pushing to the surface. It's One of Us is a domestic thriller about the private histories spouses keep from each other, and about what happens when biology refuses to stay in the past.
