Synopsis

Daisy Kincade's fortieth birthday brings a wrecked marriage, a wrecked life, and a talent she never asked for: she can see the dead. They are not subtle about wanting her help, and the afterlife's paperwork turns out to come with rules, deadlines and consequences.

With a profane best friend, an exasperated Angel of Mercy and a growing queue of ghosts, Daisy has to work out what she is now and who she can trust before something far worse than a ghost notices her.

This is book one of Good To The Last Death, Robyn Peterman's broad, comic take on paranormal women's fiction — crude, fast and firmly unserious.
