Synopsis

Louis de Pointe du Lac shares his centuries-spanning story, a tale of eternal life and the darkness that comes with it. Anne Rice was born Howard Allen Frances O'Brien on 4 October 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana, the second of four daughters of Irish Catholic parents Katherine "Kay" Allen O'Brien and Howard O'Brien. She married poet Stan Rice in 1961; he died in 2002. They had two children, Christopher (b. 1978) and Michele (1966-1972).
