Insidious Intent
Synopsis
Across the north of England, single women are disappearing from wedding celebrations, only to turn up dead, their bodies left in their own burned-out cars in remote locations. Psychologist Tony Hill and former police detective Carol Jordan are called in to work out what connects the victims before the killer strikes again.
Meanwhile, Detective Sergeant Paula McIntyre and her partner Elinor have their own crisis to manage: a cruel cyber-blackmailer targeting Torin, the teenager in their care. The tenth Tony Hill and Carol Jordan novel runs both cases in parallel as the team closes in on a killer with a very specific target.
