In the Tall Grass

Published: 2012
Language: English

Cal and Becky, a pair of inseparable siblings, are driving across Kansas toward San Diego when they stop at a field of unnaturally tall grass after hearing a boy's cry for help. The grass, however, does not yield its secrets easily: it seems to warp space and time, separating the two of them and making it impossible to know how far apart they truly are. As the days pass, dehydration and fear take hold, and the truth about the man who appears to rescue Becky becomes clear. King and Hill's collaboration is a slow-building folk-horror tale about a place that does not want to be understood.

After achieving a degree of independent success, Hill publicly confirmed his identity in 2007 after an articl...
