Synopsis

Wealthy heiress Kris Carrera has one problem money cannot fix: her father's engagement to a woman she is convinced wants only the family fortune. Her solution is to hire Nate Reynolds, a charming, financially struggling actor, to seduce the fiancee and break up the match. Nate counters her offer with a price of his own, more money plus a single kiss from Kris, redeemable whenever he chooses. What starts as a cold transaction between two people from opposite worlds slowly thaws as Nate works to reach the guarded woman behind the ice-princess reputation. A standalone in the interconnected If Love series, the book leans on a class divide, sharp banter, and a melt-the-cold-heroine dynamic, while keeping the lightly comedic yet emotional tone of Ana Huang's early new-adult work.
