Synopsis

I Didn't Ask For This follows the members of "Not Your Baby Anymore," a support group for kids whose parents are social-media influencers who have broadcast their children's entire lives online for views and sponsorships.

Written by Jennie Wood, the graphic novel uses the group's meetings to examine what it costs a kid to grow up as unpaid content, and what it takes to reclaim an identity that was never fully your own. The support group becomes a chosen family as its members push back against the fame none of them asked for.
