Hunting Season
Synopsis
Harper Starling has one goal after her world is torn apart: kill Nolan Rhodes, her ex-boyfriend, whom she calls a traitor. She follows his trail through Cape Carnage, but the clues she finds do not add up. By the time she understands the game she is playing, the man she hunts may be beyond saving.
She makes a last move: an impossible bargain that forces her to break her most sacred vow. Nolan is not pleased with the outcome. He has spent weeks in captivity and carries a serious injury, and he knows he should leave town.
But La Plume threatens to blow his life apart, and his only hope is the woman who broke his heart. Their shared enemy is a brilliant manipulator who will go to any length to bend Harper to his will. Nolan has to choose between wiping out his obsession with the woman who nearly killed him and standing beside her to fight back.
This is the third book in the Seasons of Carnage trilogy, a dark romantic comedy with thriller suspense and mature themes. Content warnings appear at the start of the book. The romance is second-chance and enemies-to-lovers, pairing two grumpy leads in a small town, with forced proximity, hurt and care, and a fierce protective streak.
