Synopsis

Second in the Seasons of Carnage trilogy. For four years, a woman known as Harper has hidden behind a name that isn't hers—she's really Autumn Bower, tied to a notorious serial killer—tending the gardens of Lancaster Manor by day and helping old Arthur Lancaster dispose of his "little mistakes" by night.

Then Nolan Rhodes, a search-and-rescue specialist who came to Cape Carnage to avenge his brother's death, finally works out who she is—and falls for her instead of finishing the job. When true-crime obsessives swarm the town hunting answers, Nolan is pulled into a search for people he knows will never be found, and Harper's buried past begins to surface.

A darkly comic romantic thriller.
