Synopsis

Vaughn Morozov, the restrained heir to the New York Bratva, and Yulian Dimitriev, the chaotic scion of the Chicago Bratva, were raised to be enemies. They first meet as teenagers at a summer camp staged by their feuding fathers to broker peace between the two crime families, where hatred at first sight gives way to a single charged, confusing moment before circumstances throw them together under fire. Four years later their worlds collide again at college, where the old rivalry reignites and Yulian sets out to get under Vaughn's skin, forcing Vaughn to confront feelings he has spent years denying. What follows is a volatile push-and-pull between two men bred for violence and bound by loyalties that forbid what they want. Part of the Legacy of Gods universe and the second book in the Villain series, this is a dark MM college mafia romance marked by rivalry, danger, and obsession. It can be read as a standalone, though reading Kiss the Villain first is recommended. The story leans heavily into action and high heat alongside the central relationship.
