Happily Whatever After

Happily Whatever After
Synopsis
Page had a boyfriend of four years and a job at a New York art gallery. In the space of a week she loses both. With nothing holding her in the city, she decamps to Washington, DC, and moves in with her older brother while she works out what comes next.
What she finds is a dog run full of the neighborhood's most pampered pets and the odd, companionable pack of people who bring them there every morning. They become friends, then something closer to a family, and through them Page starts to rebuild a life she had not planned on.
Stewart Lewis writes a warm, wry standalone about starting over in your thirties — about the awkward middle stretch after a life falls apart and before the next one arrives.
